Dr. Mintz has provided clinical psychology services (assessment and

Dr. Mintz describes his clinical approach:
"I view a person's
psychological functioning as a complicated interaction between inner
thoughts and feelings (conscious and unconscious) and environment.
That environment may be family, spouse, school, work, or team. To
optimize a person's performance and quality of life, five areas of
functioning must be well developed. These include the areas of
social relationships, intimate relationships, physical health,
emotional health, and spirituality. Although all these areas may not
be of concern to a person entering treatment, they are included in

The resources of a group practice such as Springfield
Psychological Associates (SPA) , provides access to the most
sophisticated and state of the art assessment procedures. Computer
technology is used for certain assessment procedures and scoring.
Intelligence, personality, neuropsychological,
attention/concentration, educational, and behavioral medicine
evaluation instruments are part of the SPA Assessment Center.
